A little bit about the Association of Ceramic Enthusiasts:
The Association of Ceramic Enthusiasts (ACE) is a student-run organization dedicated to supporting and promoting ceramic arts at the University of Arkansas. Throughout the academic year, ACE hosts visiting artist events, exhibitions, and fundraisers that foster community and provide opportunities for growth and professional development. These efforts help support student attendance at the annual National Council of Ceramic Educators Conference. This exhibition serves as a celebration of our members’ hard work, creativity, and continued exploration within the field of ceramics.

ABOUT THE SHOW
In this series, Bayli expands upon a recent passion for impasto (or palette knife) briging heavy texture and rich color to the canvas. The installation is a celebration of the shift from winter into spring, a moment when color returns, light softens, and the world feels like it's breathing again. Stepping inside the space is meant to feel like crossing that threshold of the quiet stillness of winter falling away and the first bloom of life unfolding around you.
After the Thaw invites visitors to pause, breathe, and remember the quiet joy of emerging into a new season. It is a small world of renewal, color, and the beauty of life coming back into bloom.
