The last half of the month of December, we hosed Shaye Anderson of West hand Co in our gallery space. Shaye makes handmade goods and colorful creations.
As a child, Shaye wrote the words in crayon—on kid menus, napkins, the occasional wall or underside of a table:
”Shaye was here.”
Now, Shaye writes in ceramics, vibrant colors, pixels and paint:
“Shaye was here.”
This work is a creative life-long attempt to leave a colorful mark on the world.
