A Group Exhibition at Kaleidoscope Collective

Colorscope is a group exhibition featuring more than 30 artists from Kaleidoscope Collective, bringing together over 10 artistic mediums in an exploration of color as both a visual language and a shared prompt for individualinterpretation. 

For this exhibition, each artist was randomly assigned a color from a Pantone color deck and invited to develop an original work in response to that color selection. Created specifically for Colorscope, each piece places its assigned hue at the forefront of the composition, occupying approximately 70% of the work while allowing space for individual interpretation, material exploration, and artistic expression.

Across painting, ceramics, textiles, printmaking, and other disciplines, the exhibition considers how a shared set of parameters can yield distinctly personal outcomes. While each artist begins with a singular color, the resulting works diverge in form, texture, technique, and meaning, revealing the many ways color can be understood, translated, and experienced.

Through this collective study, Colorscope highlights the relationship between constraint and experimentation, offering a closer look at the individual perspectives that shape a shared creative community. Each work stands as an independent interpretation, while together they form a broader conversation about color, perception, and the possibilities of artistic expression.
