Sarah Clark is a ceramic artist based in Springfield, Missouri. She earned a BFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in ceramics from Missouri Southern State University in 2018. Since starting her business S. Clark Ceramics in 2021, she has exhibited nationally and participated as a vendor in regional craft fairs. Through functional ceramics, she explores pattern with basic shapes and line as a route of connection between past and present self, using childhood doodles as inspiration for much of her work. Her pieces are created with the intent of providing intentionally made objects that foster a deeper appreciation for, and meaningful curation of, the objects that decorate our everyday lives.
