Allison Barnett is a hand embroidery artist based in Bentonville, Arkansas, and the owner of FernWerk. While her day job revolves around writing, she loves to fill her spare time with artistic hobbies. Hand embroidery became a favorite pastime due to the meditative movement of repetitive stitching. The subjects of each piece range anywhere from photo-realism architecture renderings to motivational sayings and imagery. Allison loves to experiment with different textures and elements through thread.
