Named “ONE TO WATCH” by Luxe Magazine, Nashville artist Ashley Treece specializes in creating paintings that merge present daily life with nostalgia and imagination. Spanning from representational to abstract, the works incorporate familiar objects and symbols floating through seas of color, shape, and pattern, often merged within portraits of spaces, people, or ideas. Her interested in distortion and abstraction inspired her recent disco ball series, where environments are turned into abstract fields of color. Ashley holds a B.A. in Painting from the University of Arkansas School of Art.
