Alex Bodishbaugh King is an Artist and Creative Director based in Northwest Arkansas. Her work is heavily influenced by the unique grit and stick-to-it-ness of middle America. She aims to capture the beauty and humor in everyday moments and objects. After 10 years in marketing and e-commerce, Alex decided to pursue art full-time in 2021. Her background in graphic design appears in many of her bold, typography-focused paintings and prints. Her art often features mantras that explore intuition and confidence in oneself such as 'trust your gut'. In addition to Artist, Alex has extensive experience as a Curator and Creative Director. Her concepts and campaigns are immersive, intriguing, and unexpected. From an art gallery in an abandoned mall to a luxury jewelry store pop-up shop, Alex's creative endeavors are all anchored by the desire to connect her community with art and artists.
